Two weeks after Ja Rule's new track, now officially
titled "Crown," hit the streets, particulars about his
next project are still scarce. Def Jam has, however, revealed two
major details:

The release date is set for November 4, and the
record, which was originally slated to be an EP, has been expanded
into a full-length LP.
Ja's representatives say the album will be named
Blood in My Eye, which is a tribute to one of Rule's favorite books,
a tome of the same name by activist George L. Jackson. Jackson was
killed in San Quentin State Prison in 1971, a few days after he
finished writing the book.
Rule still hasn't picked his first single, but two
cuts are in the running, according to his label: the aforementioned
"Crown" (see "Ja Disses Detractors, Feds And Jacksons
On EP's Likely First Single") and another track called "Clap
Back."
